How do I submit a comic strip to a newspaper?

I have been designing a little comic strip that I believe would be kind of entertaining in a newspaper. Could someone just explain to me the series of steps i need to go through in order to get my strip published. I understand that you have to submit them to a "syndacate" or something which then sends it to newspapers, but what exactly is a syndacate and how to I find one?

Look up the following: King Features Syndicate,

United Features Syndicate:

http://www.unitedfeatures.com/?title=Submissions

Universal Press Syndicate:

Things are pretty consistent — they four to six weeks of continuity for example.

Good luck.

Do you know any MARVEL comics, that have the spirit of Disney comics?

February 32010

I mean Marvel comics that move within the way Disney comics usually move/are.
I don’t know how to describe this, exactly, but can you help?

Not at all. It’s all dollars. They don’t care what the fans want at all.

I guess Spiderman will now hang out with Peter Pan and dump Mary Jane for Alice in Brooklyn.

No wonder Venom was so Girly in SM3. They must have taken over long before we knew of it. He prolly wore pink underwear.

What is the chronilogical order of all of the Ultimate Marvel comic books?

February 12010

You dont need to list each individual comic, but try to list the paperback volumes that have six or seven issues in them. For example, Ultimate Spider-man vol 1 includes the first six issues. So if someone could list all of these volumes in chronological order, that would be great.

It all started with Ultimate Spider-Man #1 for a complete list just go here

Who knows how to give value to comics collections?

try not to get rips or tears and keep it with a card board back with a baggie on it and it will increase in value if it does not get damaged. Alos if you grade it by a professional comic grader.

How are manga and comic artists able to draw the same characters in different situations and different poses?

January 252010

Posted in comic | 3 Comments »

I feel like if I were to draw a manga or comic, the character would look like a slightly different person in each frame.

Some of it is hand drwn and some of it is digital.

If the artist has captured the face and the body of the character, they can just re-create the same character in a different pose using the help of computers.

Yet, some are so good they dont even require digital assistance.

Spiritually speaking will Thundercats ever make a comeback the way all these other old cartoons & comics have?

January 232010

You know like Transformers, GI Joe or Spiderman. I think they should make a live action Thundercats Movie.

Yes they should and to put it in a Religious Context it should be called "The Passion of the Thundercats."
