How do I find the value of my comics?

September 302009

I used to collect comics over a decade ago, and I’m not sure which ones are still valuable and which are not, nor how much the valuable ones are worth. If possible, I’d like a source that offers comic prices for free, but if that is not available, I’m willing to pay (preferably as little as possible). Does anyone know where I can find a reliable price guide?

Compare them to the prices listed at Mile High comics. They list different prices for different quality gradients of the same comics too.

Where should i start if i wanna read the Marvel comic books?

September 302009

I really like all the marvel movies, and have been interested in reading the comic books, but have never got around to it. Now i want to start, but the thing is there are so many different kinds of them I don’t really know where to start. What would be a good series/group/hero to start with that wouldnt be to complicated or confusing? Thanks a lot

Both Spider-Man and any of the X-titles are usually enjoyable. They both have a long history though since they’ve been running for quite a while. I would just do a little bit of reading on Wikipedia for either and then pick up a few issues. You just have to start somewhere…and then come here with any questions.

I have a box full of comics (20 years old) How do I find out if their first print giving it some kind of value

September 282009

Marvel Secret Wars 1 & 2,DC Crisis of Infinite Earths and so on. They are all limited series comics. Ranging from 4 pcs to 12. Also some loose pcs with a original price fo 35 cents. I know that in the early 80’s so much stuff was printed they might be worthless, But you never know what is sitting in its little plastic baggy

http://comicspriceguide.com is a good site to look a the values of comics

Well Secret Wars 1 the issues range between 3 and 6 dollars, with #8 being worth 28 dollars.
The rest you can look up for yourself

My child is learning to speak Mandarin, to encourage his learning, we wanted to provide resources such as DVDs in his favorite movies (super heroes, Disney, etc.) in Mandarin. I’ve been able to find many movie titles in Cantonese, but none in Mandarin. We would appreciate any help to locate these DVDs or other learning resources. Our child is 5 years old. Thank you!

Go to marvel.com and you will findsome cool comics you can read and buy! COOL!!!

Where can I find the value of trading cards?

September 262009

I have several trdaing cards from differnt genres, basketball, comics book cards, etc…. Where can I go to find out how much they are worth?

Get hold of sports cards magazines like Tuff Stuff(also include collectible values) or Beckett Basketball,Baseball, etc. If you want an online resource, then I’m afraid you have to subscribe. You can try to list some sports cards here with player names, card series and card numbers, and maybe you can get some favorable answers.

i have old comics what is the best way to sell them for quite alot of money?

September 242009

i would really like to get so serious money for my comic book and cards. where is a good place to do this at?

Ebay might be a good place to start. You can build your own store for the comic books, or just list each comic book individually. That way you’ll be able to set a minimum bid on each comic book, so you will at least receive the minimum amount of money you want. :)
