Comic Books?? What Do I Do?
September 122009
I have these old (in the 80s/90s) comic books and I don’t know what to do with them. I don’t collect so they mean nothing to me I just know that some how i can sell them but for how much I don’t know. If anyone knows it would be great if you could comment or message me.

OH MY GOD! this is …
OH MY GOD! this is my worst nightmare come to life…I just got this strange vision of me dropping dead and my wife getting on you tube doing the same thing. I’ve been collecting over 30yrs and I can see my wife now on youtube doing the same thing this (cute) young lady is doing, looking in the corners of the comic looking at what year it was made, not knowing if it’s a key issue or not.
Don’t get ripped off, get a comic book price guide

you might get …
you might get something around 5-9$ for each 80’s issue, but the 90’s are worthless, everybody collected and cared for them by that time, and there were too many printings. I bought 10 issues of 90’s comics on ebay for about 2-3$. The best thing would be to sell a big lot of 90’s.

Well here is my two …
Well here is my two bits. Two bits is about what you would get for that collection lol. Truth is anything 80’s to current is all crap ( in ref to value) Anything 90’s for sure toss, the market was flooded bad in the 90’s. Now anything 70’s and earlier is good but then it comes down to condition. My suggestion is either sell the entire bunch in a lot auction on e-bay ( see closed comic book lot auctions for ideas on win bids.) Or donate to the library it’s a good feeling I do it all the time.

Hey! I’m a big …
Hey! I’m a big collector of comics so I think I’ll be able to help you out.
First, make a list of all the books you have with their complete titles, issue #s, and current condition (i.e. mint=excellent, good, fair=average, poor, etc).
If you find any that are pre-1980 you may want to hold on to them as it is possible they could be worth quite a bit.
If you want, you can send me a message on here with the list and I can look up the values for you and get back to you.
Good luck!
