Yes they should and to put it in a Religious Context it should be called "The Passion of the Thundercats."

Almost certainly - it was pretty popular. However, it was never as popular as The Transformers, and GI Joe and Spiderman have decades of continuing (non-stop) popularity outside of television. It may be that The Thundercats will not be revived as these more popular concepts have been.
I’d like to see a revival of Ruff and Reddy. And The Herculoids - what a great concept, though poorly executed. Imagine this: Tarzan in outer space, complete with Jane and Boy. Plus: he has 3 dinosaur friends, all of whom have outer space energy weapons built in. You just can’t beat that.
