What do I do with old comics?
January 42010
My mom has these old comics of scooby doo, casper, marvel comics, etc. They are like 40, 30, 20 year old comics from when she was a kid. They are in these plastic covers and look brand new but she does nothing with them. I think she should sell them because they are just sitting there collecting dust but she has no clue where or who to sell them to. Any help?
collect them, they could be worth a lot of money do research at library on how to preserve comics, how to buy and sell them,ETC.

sell on Ebay OR take cuttings out of them and make a video featuring them OR donate to some library OR recycle in any way OR look for others’ answers.

You could sell them on eBay, it would be better than just a yard sale because prices there aren’t too high….you could probably get a load of money for comic books that old and in that condition.

There are a lot of comic groups on Yahoo, where collectors get together to swap, buy and sell old comic books. My advice would be to hold on to them. Or go to one of the Yahoo Groups and ask their opinion of what you have. Here’s one Marvel group you might look at.
